Ashley Rolfmore, a freelance professional based in Portugal (“I”, “me”, “my”), is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of clients, contacts, and partners.

1. Information I Collect

I may collect information provided by clients and business contacts, including:

  • Contact details (name, email, phone number)
  • Company information relevant to projects
  • Billing and invoicing information
  • Project-related correspondence, including any personal data of contacts necessary to manage and deliver services

This information is collected only for the purpose of providing freelance services, managing projects, and fulfilling contractual or legal obligations.

2. How I Use Information

Information is used exclusively to:

  • Deliver freelance services and manage projects
  • Communicate regarding proposals, agreements, or project updates
  • Issue invoices and comply with legal obligations

I do not sell or share information with third parties, except where necessary to provide services (eg, payment processors) or when required by law.

Processing is based on:

  • Performance of a contract with your company
  • Compliance with legal obligations (eg, tax reporting)
  • Legitimate interest for the provision of services even in cases of informal or pro bono work where no contract exists, such as advice, free projects, or trial work

4. Retention

Information is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law (generally 10 years for tax records in Portugal).

5. Rights of Contacts

Contacts within client companies have the right to:

  • Access their information
  • Correct inaccuracies
  • Request deletion (unless retention is required by law)
  • Object to or restrict processing

Requests can be sent to ashley@rolfmore.com with the subject "GDPR Request", and I will respond within 30 days.

6. Security

I take appropriate measures to protect information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss.
